Pip has always lived an active lifestyle, spending several years as a group fitness instructor before discovering Crossfit 8 years ago, when she began training and competing in the sport. Through Crossfit, Pip developed a love of the body and what it can achieve.

Pip enjoys the challenge that working with the body brings and understands that there is never a ‘one size fits all’ option for treatment.

“Each treatment is tailored to the individual in front of me and always takes into account the complexities of pain and inflammation.”

Pip uses a variety of skills and techniques proven to be effective in the treatment of chronic pain and inflammation.

Pip has a special interest in injuries, chronic pain conditions and a natural love of science. This has fueled her focus for using up to date, evidence-based practice along with patient education and rehabilitation to achieve significant benefit for her patients.

Experience with elite athletes including the Brisbane Broncos, Brisbane Bullets and the Qld State of Origin team, combined with various work as therapist and on field sports trainer at a number of sporting events, has led to a thorough understanding of acute sports injuries as well as how to best maintain the body for high level sporting demands.

Pip is committed to working with her clients to reduce or eliminate pain and dysfunction through treatment and education. She aims to empower her clients with the tools they need to attain and maintain a functional, pain-free lifestyle.

“I am excited to be able to offer my knowledge and skills to assist my clients in their journey to functional health. MYOTHERAPIST (undergrad)
Mark Brennan

Mark is Pip’s husband and is over halfway through his Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy) degree through Endeavor College. Mark is registered and insured through ANTA and able to provide student treatments while he finishes his studies.

With a background as both a carpenter and a builder, Mark spent around 15 years working on both commercial and residential building sites, before taking the risk to completely overhaul his career and focus on a journey of health both for himself and our patients. His first hand experience as a tradie gives him a unique depth of understanding of the demands that physical work places on the body and how best to address the common issues that present.

After years of playing rugby and working as a tradie, I had some persistent pain that had not successfully been treated. After 1 session with a myotherapist, I decided that I wanted to know about how to help people in the way they helped me“.

Combined with his current study and guidance from Pip, we are confident that Mark will be a fantastic addition to the BodyWorx team!
